Bush = Ayatollah?

From Drudge:

This morning on ABC's Good Morning America, Democratic National Committee Chair Howard Dean attacked President Bush for turning the United States into Iran. Dean: "All we ask is that we not turn into a country like Iran where the President can do anything he wants."

I guess the "Bush is a Nazi" slur got a little stale and the Dems needed fresh material.

Now that Iran is getting some rub as the "next big threat," it takes very little imagination to paint Bush as being morally equivalent.

The clueless extreme left has been accusing American Christians of trying to institute a theocracy for some time. What they are not really after is religious tolerance, but instead looking for any excuse to justify a behavior pattern eschewing personal responsibility.

Boy is that the pot callin the kettle black. Dean's much more an ayatollah, and his followers more like the Iranian Revolutionary Guard than Bush or the Republicans could possibly be.
