Tasted my first Beluga caviar last night. (Domestic farm-raised, my friends. Imported Beluga is banned.)
OMG. That salty stuff you get in jars in the canned meat aisle alongside the Spam and tinned herring? Fuhgettaboutit. Beluga is amazing. Literally gave me shivers. Straight outta the jar on a wafer was an experience in gastronomic bliss unequaled by few other things.
