Shortly after the arrest of John Mark Karr in connection with the JonBenet Ramsey murder case, talk show host Neal Boortz said that Karr was a poseur and the case would fall apart within a week.
He called it! He's also calling it The Most Expensive Taxpayer-funded Jailbreak, and I tend to agree with him.
Even though Karr now faces only misdemeanor child porn charges in California (and why should child porn charges ever be just a misdemeanor?), his 15 minutes of fame will assure he never gets a job working around kids ever again. And for that, I can deal with several days' worth of nausea-inducing coverage of John Mark Karr and his sick fantasies.
